      Rahill Mirza

Rahill Mirza’s earliest memory of being drawn to becoming a musician is building his own guitar in wood with clutch wires when he was in grade 7. Grandson of Sardar Latif – a violinist at Pakistan Radio – Mirza got his initial training from his uncle, Sajjad Sardar. Inspired heavily by eastern rhythms, as well as the likes of Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and Tommy Emmanuel – his personal favorite style to play is funk and western classical.

Lead guitarist for Amanat Ali, as well as having played with Shiraz Uppal, Arif Lohar and the Raga Boyz – Coke Studio, Season 9, will be Rahill Mirza’s first appearance on the platform.
